Regular meetings are held on Tuesday nights at the Wacousta United Methodist Church from 7 to 8:30 PM, unless otherwise noted.
The first Tuesday is the general troop meeting - Class A uniforms should be worn.
The 2nd Tuesday is a general troop meeting - the red troop 70 t-shirt should be worn.
The 3rd Tuesday is the troop activity night - the red Troop 70 t-shirt can be worn, depending on the activity.
The 4th Tuesday is the Patrol Leader meeting. Only Patrol Leaders need to attend.
The last Wednesday of the month is the parents/planning meeting. It is open to all parents. This meeting is where the committee plans upcoming events, activities, etc.
January
4: first meeting - 2nd year Cobras do opening ceremony.
Please bring an American flag if you have one. The scouts will learn the proper way to fold and dispose of flags, and also how to fold foreign flags.
8/9:
Kiwanis Cabin Camping/Webelo Invite Night - Cancelled
11:Scorpions will do opening ceremony. We will be doing fingerprinting.
19:Activity night - this has been changed to Wednesday night. Ice skating at the Grand Ledge rink if the weather is good, euchre at the church if the weather is bad. If we have the euchre tournament, bring a deck of cards, a non-carbonated drink, and a snack to share.
February
1:Orientation - using a compass and GPS. Bring a compass or GPS if you have one. (And all scouts should have a compass!)
13:Troop ski trip to Bittersweet. Come to a meeting for details.
15:No activity night - the troop ski trip is the activity trip.
March
1:Class A Uniform meeting at the Church 7-8pm
